Youth today are faced with the rapidly changing world through the internet. More information is being presented faster Everyone must keep up with the changes. This concept affects teachers drastically. Not only do teachers have to keep up with technology themselves, but they must teach and affectively utilize this constantly changing resource.
Though it might seem as if people are becoming more self-sufficient through the internet and other technologies, the classroom is still important to education. The management of the classroom, however, is becoming more difficult because of the internet. As Mark Kennedy implies, the classroom teaches concepts that the internet cannot necessarily teach, such as responsibility, self management, and personal problem solving, but the balance is not easy to achieve.
